Terry: You don’t understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am. Let’s face it. It was you, Charley.
Now let’s face it Terry. Clint Bowyer is not a bum. Until “Spingate” at Richmond last year, Clint was a prime wild card contender to win the whole kitten caboodle. Until “Spingate.” That’s when the wheels came off for Michael Waltrip Racing and the 5 Hour Energy Team. Clint is such a good guy, he always says what is on his mind and he doesn’t give a damn what you think. Until “Spingate.” The question is, how will he and MWR handle this in 2014?
Why Clint Bowyer will win the chase in 2014:
Clint Bowyer got married this offseason. And Clint Bowyer is one hell of a talented driver. And Clint Bowyer is #1.. Well his number is 15 but he is the king cheese at MWR. And Clint Bowyer is tired of people, especially people like you and me talking about “Spingate.” It’s over and done with. And you better believe Clint shot enough ducks, deer and or pheasants and bears or whatever he hunts and kills these days – to get all his stress and anger out this offseason. You know, it’s almost a shame Clint wasn’t on Team Hendricks or Stewart-Hass, Joe Gibbs these days. Because I know I say this about every driver, but Clint could be the best driver in all of NASCAR. But he’s driving for MWR, which is a hell of a team. And he’s going to prove to each and every damn one of us that he isn’t a bum. And it really was, the other guy.
